Pearl River Chinese New Year Musical

     On the evening of Jan.8th, Pearl River Piano Group held the Pearl River Chinese New Year musical evening.Many senior government officials,including:Mayor Lin-Shusen,Zhang-Guangning,Lin-Yuanhe,Wu Yimin and others were present, also invited to this event were about 300 music dealers from all over China. Mr.Ping-Xinguang, Director of the GuangZhou Economic Committee,gave the opening statement. The famous pianist,Liu-Shikun,and honored guest, Wu-Tianqui, professor at Central Music Academy, were invited to perform during the musical evening. The majority of the entertainment for the evening was supplied by the Pearl River Chorus and Wind Ensemble,composed exclusively of employee of Pearl River Factory. The asward for the 4th Pearl River Sports Meet were also presented during the evening.
