The only chosen enterprise from Guangdong, Pearl River Group, was awarded a gold medal inscribed by President Jang Ze-Min with:"Encourage Chinese People's Asperations". By creating a wold famous brand name, Pearl River Gropu was also elected as one of the 16 International Competitive Chinese Enterprises rated as a World Top Brand by the Federation of Industrial Economics and Chinese Promotion Committee for Top Brand Strategy.
